I am delighted to be joining AFC Uckfield Town and excited to get to work to restore some pride to the club.
The committee are a great bunch, and it was a pleasure to try and help the last couple of games last season, though player availability and survival was already out of the club’s hands, it gave me a feel for the place and the people.
Yes, it’ll be the first time I’ve led a dressing room in a Men’s Senior environment but when you have overseen some of the best managers, coaches, and players you know what makes a strong team and how to deliver a defined environment.
It’ll be on us looking to change the fortunes of AFC Uckfield Town to be aggressive in our desire, celebrating mediocracy won’t be tolerated at this club and I am looking forward to getting to understand the footballing stakeholders locally, how we can help others around us and be a positive football environment to develop players in senior football. The barriers will be removed, and we welcome conversations.
